The Compassionate Call
Scripture: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 Jesus speaks compassion into our exhaustion. His voice doesn’t demand performance; it invites rest. Lent reminds us that God’s heart is not harsh but gentle, drawing us close when life feels heavy. His compassion is not abstract—it is active, personal, and restorative. Today, hear His voice calling you to lay down what you were never meant to carry. Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me hear your compassionate call above every other voice. Teach me to rest in you and receive your kindness today. Amen.
