Justice That Confronts Wrong Scripture: “Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never‑failing stream.” — Amos 5:24 Jesus embodies this prophetic cry. His voice challenges systems and attitudes that crush the vulnerable. Lent invites us to examine where injustice hides in our own hearts and communities. His justice is not punitive but restorative—calling us to align our lives with God’s heart for fairness, dignity, and truth. It urges us to notice the people we overlook, to speak when silence would be easier, and to choose courage over comfort. As we partner with Jesus, we allow him to reshape our instincts so that justice becomes not an occasional act but a daily posture of love in action. Let's pray: Jesus, awaken my heart to injustice. Give me the courage to speak and act with your righteousness. In your name, I ask. Amen. You can buy me a coffee here!
