Justice Rooted in Love
Scripture: “A bruised reed he will not break.” — Matthew 12:20 Jesus’ justice never tramples the weak. His voice defends the vulnerable with tenderness and strength. Lent reminds us that justice without love becomes harsh, but love without justice becomes hollow. Jesus holds both perfectly. He teaches us to protect, uplift, and honour those who are overlooked. Prayer: Lord, shape my understanding of justice so it reflects Your love. Help me defend the vulnerable with compassion. In your precious name. Amen.
