Mercy That Meets Us
Scripture: “His mercy is new every morning.” — Lamentations 3:23 Jesus meets us at the start of each day with mercy that doesn’t depend on our performance. Lent reminds us that God’s heart leans toward compassion, not condemnation. His mercy interrupts cycles of shame and invites us into renewal. Even when we feel spiritually tired or emotionally stretched, His mercy greets us like sunrise—steady, faithful, and full of promise. Today begins with His kindness, not our striving. Prayer: Jesus, thank You for fresh mercy today. Help me receive it deeply and extend it freely to others. Amen.
