Mercy That Forgives

Scripture: “Your sins are forgiven.” — Luke 7:48

Jesus’ mercy wipes the slate clean. Lent invites us to confess honestly, knowing forgiveness is already flowing toward us. His mercy frees us from the weight of regret and the fear of judgment. Forgiveness is not a reluctant gesture—it is the overflow of His heart. When we receive his mercy, we are empowered to forgive others with the same generosity.

Jesus, thank you for forgiving me completely. Teach me to forgive others with the same mercy you’ve shown me. Amen.
