Mercy at the Cross
Scripture: “Father, forgive them.” — Luke 23:34 The cross is mercy embodied. Jesus extends forgiveness even in suffering. Lent leads us to this place where mercy triumphs over judgment. At the cross, we see the depth of God’s love and the cost of our redemption. His mercy flows from wounds willingly borne, offering us freedom, healing, and reconciliation. Prayer: Crucified Lord, thank you for the mercy poured out at the cross. Help me live in its freedom and share its message with others. Amen.
