“For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14, ESV The enemy of God and the saints is such a liar. He says he’s powerful, but he’s not as powerful as you. He says the world is his, but it’s not where you’re walking. When we talk about being ambassadors for Christ we imagine living in a walled embassy from which we make little incursions into the world, but it really should be the other way around. The principalities and powers of this dark age are the ones who should have to build fortresses against the people of God. You should be the one on the outside of the wall of Satan’s strongholds, marching around them bringing the walls down with kindness, love, mercy, prayer, and power. Mordecai is confident God will not allow his people to perish regardless of the decision Esther makes. But he also sees where the Lord has placed her. He would probably recognise your calling, too. Resilience includes believing God chose you for right now; there are things only you can do. You are handpicked by the creator of the universe. The Lord says nations will come running to you because of what he has done for you. Get ready for the Father’s power and provision to overtake you and use you to bring relief and deliverance to the world. Let’s pray Thank you, Jesus, that I am the head and not the tail; I am above only and not beneath, and I have you - the Greater One living in me. Thank you for giving me the gift of righteousness to reign in life. I accept the call to exercise your power for your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Want more?
