A thief has only one thing in mind - he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect - life in its fullness until you overflow!” John 10:10 TPT The Greek word for abundance has a mathematical meaning and generally denotes a surplus. You must take hold of the truth that God has more than sufficient resource to ensure you live in abundance because he is sovereign over every emergency and is able to supply all needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Nothing is outside the authority or reach of God. And abundance is not something you’re waiting for - you have it now. We know this because Jesus says, “I have come.” Not “I will come” not “I’m on my way and here’s a dribble of abundance to keep you going”. “I have come so that you might have…” Jesus says. And Jesus doesn’t lie. Of course, Satan is constantly looking for ways to convince you that he can interrupt the supply chain. But he can’t. Stand on the truth that by his victory on the cross Jesus ensured you have everything we need in abundance for the life he has called you to. The one who calls us is faithful and he will do it. Resilience will help you experience the life in abundance that is yours by right, but you have to stand on the truth. Let’s pray Lord, thank you that I am blessed in the city, blessed in the field, blessed when I come and when I go. I cast down every stronghold, sickness and poverty must cease, for the devil is defeated and I am blessed.* In Jesus’ name. Amen. (*All credit to Fred Hammond!) Want more?
