"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9, NIV I met an amazing woman at an event one year. She was kind and funny, intelligent and warm, courageous and focused. I liked her immediately. She died in February from secondary breast cancer. I never saw her physically well but - my goodness - I watched her live well. She was quietly honest about cancer and informed and intelligent about her area of expertise (the impact of social media on society, particularly children). In everything, she was genuinely resilient. Best of all, she was a lover of God. I know when she met Jesus face-to-face he will have been as enamoured with her as I was. We need more kind, funny, intelligent, warm, courageous and focused people living through pain, up to their ears in thought-leadership, fully representing their kind, funny, intelligent, warm, courageous and focused Saviour. That’ll be you, by the way. The world needs you. Let's pray You are my strength Jesus. Help me to live well and carry myself with grace and courage. Help me to be honest about my challenges and defend truth, justice and righteousness in my sphere of influence. You are my strength Jesus. Thank you. In your precious name. Amen. Want more?
